What speeds do the spi interfaces run at on the TMS570LC4357-EP MCU? Does it have the capability to run at speeds slower than when it may typically run at?

    Hi Michael,

    The maximum speed supported by SPI is fixed and it is 25Mhz (1/40ns). Whereas the lower speed has no cutoff it is depends on the input VCLK clock giving to the SPI module.

    For example, if my input clock giving to the SPI is 75Mhz like as shown below:

    In this case the lowest possible speed is 293Khz (256/75Mhz).

    So, you can vary the input VLCK clock frequency and based on that the lower speed will get decided.
