MSPM0G3519: How can I change the version of JFlash in CCS20

Hi Team,

I have downloaded a new version of JFlash which can support our new device.

But it still failed to flashing MCU with J-LINK in CCS20 but succeed to flash old device. May I know how I can update the version of Jflash in CCS20. Thanks!

Hello,

The J-Link package in CCS ins not easily upgradeable.What version of CCS are you using? What version of the J-Link package is required? I believe we updated to J-Link 8.70 in CCS 20.3.0 (the last time we updated the J-Link package).

CCS version I am using is 20.3.1. While the lowest version of Jflash need to be V8.72.

I will request that we update the J-Link version in the upcoming CCS 20.5.0 release. I filed a ticket for this. Tracking link: https://sir.ext.ti.com/jira/browse/EXT_EP-13136

As a workaround, you can try downloading the standalone J-Link package and manually copy in the driver to CCS like mentioned in the below post:
