AM263P4-Q1: Cannot configure UART for 1MBps via Syscfg

I am working a BMS project using teh AM263P4-Q1 connected to a 79731. I am tring to confiogure UART2 to communicate at 1Mbps in Syscfg. Syscfg does allow me to confgirue that speed. It tops out at 920Kbps. Syscfg appears to be missing the ability to change the clock source and Clokc freqeuncy for UART.

I am another design using a AM2632-Q1. Syscfg for that device allows selection of the clock source and the clock frequency. I was able to set the speed correctly.

You mean "does not allow"?

You mean there's no dropdown box? Perhaps a screenshot would help.

FYI. I'm using exactly the same device and can configure UART2 for 5Mbps so it should work in principle.

I am having trouble attaching a picture. The Clock Source and Clock Freq are greyed out. There is no option to pull down a selection. This is version 1.26 of Syscfg. I am using the Linux version of the tool.

Hi Jeffrey,

In the latest syscfg, we have integrated the clocktree tool, so the clock configurations for a peripheral need to be configured from the clock tree section now. I have attached a screenshot for the clocktree window.

On the top-right, you can toggle between the default syscfg-gui window and the clock-tree window. Please switch to the clock-tree window and configure the clock as needed.

Thank you that resolved my issue. I didn't know about the new Clock Tree feature.
