Hello,

   We are using SDK8.6 for development on FreeRTOS and would like to add an Ethernet reset function when working with Ethernet. We noticed the App_shutdownNetworkStack function, but after calling it, we found that it does not function as intended. We also found related discussions on the forum and tried the patch mentioned in the link below, but it still did not achieve the desired functionality. We kindly request your assistance to help us implement the App_shutdownNetworkStack function on SDK8.6.

    Hi,

    In the current plan for TI, it is not possible to enable this as part of the next release, which is planned to release in April. Since your requirement is of a closer date, we can support you to enable this feature via E2E support, and you have to maintain the patch set for your development activities. This would be available in SDK only from v12.1, and will be maintained by TI from that point.

    Please let us know if this arrangement works for you. Also, Please share the scale of number of units being planned so that I can check with our internal teams for any possibilities to accommodate this request.
