MSPM0G1105: Stabilizing ADC Readings

Hello,

I have a customer who suspects that unstable ADC readings are causing failures in their PCB verification tests. I have suggested the following to try to stabalize their ADC readings:

  1. Perform HW averaging
  2. Increase the sampling time & confirm the minimum sampling time required for their circuit

Are there any additional recomendations or methods on how to stabilize ADC readings, or common reasons for why unstable ADC readings may occur?
