MSPM0G3519: MSPM0G3519: ADC supply/battery monitoring

Part Number: MSPM0G3519

Hi TI team,

Currently I'm trying to measure the battery/supply voltage of the ADC .

Below are my configuration

I use voltage reference as VDDA and 10 bit resolution. The supplied voltage is from USB cable (so it will be converted to 3.3V). There is no additional voltage applied to the pin. The measured result is 315 - which is equivalent to 1.01. I check the datasheet and I understand that the Vsupply monitor will be VDD/3.

My expectation is the result shall be 335-345 (which is equivalent to 3.3V/3). The actual result range is 315-325, which is a small voltage drop/gap (0.1V). Is this OK from your point of view ?

  • Hi Khanh,

The 0.1V drop looks a little bit large than expected.

Could you share the value you measure by multimeter, is it 3.3V?

And also, maybe you could try a larger sampling time (such as over 1us) to check whether the result will be better.

    Best Regards,

    Pengfei
