MSP432E401Y: Internal Registers for Failure Debugging

Hello team,

We are using MSP432E401Y microcontroller in our system and use multiple peripherals such as Ethernet ,I2C,SPI,EPI,UART,PWM and Timers with FreeRTOS.

We are planning to read the failure status and debug with the registers and display in a UI via ethernet for failure analysis and debugging purposes, it could be great if we can read some internal register to understand the state of the microcontroller.

For example to know the cause of reset we used the RESC register.

Likewise could you please suggest few internal registers which can highly help us in probing the issues.

Hello,

All of the MSP432E401Y registers are defined in the associated TRM. Most of the peripherals you are using have status registers that may contain failure information. I would suggest looking at the registers descriptions for the peripherals you are using and check if there are any registers that you find useful for failure analysis.
