MSPM0L1116: RTC Interval Limitations and PWM operation in STANDBY1 Mode

Part Number: MSPM0L1116
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hi All,

Is there any way to count 10 seconds or 15 seconds using the RTC?
I have confirmed that a 60‑second interval can be counted successfully.
If the RTC cannot support such intervals, could you tell me how to achieve 10‑ or 15‑second counting using a TIMG instead?
(Preferably with a method that results in low power consumption.)

I would also like to output 3‑channel PWM during STANDBY1 mode.
Is this possible?
I believe it should be feasible by using CC0 and CC1 of TIMG0 and TIMG1.

Best Regards,

Ito

  • Hello Ito,

The interval alarm interrupt provided by RTC_B on L1116 is as below:

About how to use Timer to count, you can refer to the demo in our SDK: timx_timer_mode_periodic_sleep. Modify below configuration in sysconfig.

If you want to output 3 PWM under STANDBY1, you need use TIMG0 CC0/1 and TIMG8 CC0/1 because just TIMG0, TIMG8, and RTC have clock under STANDBY1
