AM2634: Dynamically feeding configuration file to AM2634 application

Good Morning,

I am using AM2634 in my design. I want to give configuration file in XML/JSON format that includes the parameters needs to be changed dynamically in the CCS project code. How can i give configuration file as an input to CCS project and read the parameters and build the project. Any example code or the suggistions will be helpful.

Hi,

i want to give ip address, port number and some internal functionality parameters related to GPIO numbers and others related to serial interfaces.

Hi,

There is no functionality to externally modify the application code for IP Addr, Port number (all explicitly configured in application's .c files).

Configurations such as GPIO numbers and serial interfaces are taken care through the example.syscfg file but again, there is no functionality to externally modify it that is provided with CCS or SDK.

In my opinion, You can try writing a wrapper layer (a python script) that modifies the example.sysconfig and some .c files based on the parameters in your xml/json file.

Hi Ranjtih,

We do not have any sample implementation for that, it was just an approach i thought could be used in your case. That is a custom development you would have to do.
