AM625: About Am625 linux reboot

Hi

I still haven't successfully rebooted after writing RST_n register to 0x01 through MMC.
I found that in self-made hardware, connecting the PORz pin to the RST of EMMC may have an impact. Is there any difference between this PORz signal and the RESETSTATz pin of AM62? Can PORz signal reset be achieved by modifying the device tree.

Do you mean the Linux reboot command will reboot the system properly if connect PORz pin to the eMMC RST pin?

The AM62x SK EVM uses the RESETSTATz pin to reset the eMMC. Please see the screenshot of the EVM schematics.

Yes, currently the PORz pin is connected to the reset pin of EMMC on the shelf hardware.
1. I would like to know the functions of PORz and reset pins? What are the differences?
2. Is it possible to implement the reboot command by resetting EMMC through PORz signal by modifying the device tree and Linux configuration without modifying a version of the hardware.

I guess you meant the AM62x PORZ_OUT pin (ball E21)?

Please use a scope to compare the PORZ_OUT and RESETSTATz signals when you run reboot command in Linux.
