TM4C1290NCPDT: Unlocking Debug Port on TM4C1290NCPDT

Part Number: TM4C1290NCPDT

Hi,

I am using a custom board with the TM4C1290NCPDT microcontroller. Programming is performed via SWD using an XDS110 debugger.

I disabled the debug port by clearing the DBG1 bit in the BOOTCFG register using firmware. After programming this change, the device can only be updated via the bootloader, which is the intended behavior for our application.

However, I now need to unlock the device to re-enable debug access.

I understand that some users have used LM Flash Programmer to recover locked devices. Unfortunately, I am unable to unlock the controller on my custom board using XDS110 and SWD. Additionally, LM Flash Programmer requires holding the RESET pin low during the recovery sequence. My custom board does not provide a way to manually hold the reset pin low.

Could you please advise if there is any method to unlock the controller under these conditions? Is there an alternative recovery procedure that can be performed ?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
