MSPM0G1107: MSPM0 Programming Failure and Potential Chip Lockout

Part Number: MSPM0G1107
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Dear team,

Customer use our G1107 for their products and face to programming issue during mass production.

Device be entered lock status and not able to recovered by standard methods.

Here are programming enviromnet and debug resoult we done from field side.

Please suggest next steps and how to find the root cause.

------------------------------

1. Environment

 TI XDS110 USB Debug Probe

 Code Composer Studio (v12.8.0.00012)

 UniFlash (v8.6.0.4688)

2. Symptoms & Diagnostic Results

We performed the following tests, which indicate that the hardware connection is functional, but Flash access is restricted:

   I. SWD Interface Test (Succeeded): The "Test Connection" utility in CCS for SWD Mode Integrity passed successfully.

II.Flash Programming Failure (Error -614): When attempting to flash the device via CCS or UniFlash, the following error occurs:"Error connecting to the target: (Error -614 @ 0x0)

III.Mass Erase Recovery Failure: We attempted to perform a MSPM0_MassErase to force-recover the chip. However, a register access error occurred during execution:

Trouble Reading Register SECAP_RCR: (Error -2131 @ 0x2020C) Unable to access device register.

Based on the above symptoms, the MCU is in a Locked state, preventing normal programming
