Hi,

please advise how to enable the MCLK monitor using Sysconfig or at least DriverLib.

MCLK Monitor seems to be an integral part to use the WWDT reliably. However, enabling the WWDT does not automatically enable MCLK monitor nor could I find a separate setting in Sysconfig. Also, I couldn't find a DriverLib API for it.

Hi Philipp,
I agree there isn't a straightforward way to enable this monitor (I will ask around why that's the case.) However, I would recommend to follow the how to enable the MCLK monitor as the TRM section 2.3.4.2 MCLK Monitor mentions.

Ex:

SYSCTL->SOCLOCK.MCLKCFG |= SYSCTL_MCLKCFG_MCLKDEADCHK_ENABLE

Hi Diego,

thanks, I implemented the exact line that you recommend to enable it.

Nevertheless, with MCLK being mandatory for the WWDT to work, it would be great to offer enabling the MCLK Monitor when enabling the WWDT. Can we integrate this into the next SDK release?
