TMS570LC4357: Limitation of using the memory swapping feature

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

Hi experts,

According to the Technical Reference Manual of the TMS570LC4357, the µC allows for swapping flash and RAM by setting MEMSW in the BMMCR-Register to 0x5h.

However, in section 2.2.1, there is a note that says:
"After the swap with the flash memory-mapped to 0x08000000, only 512 kB of the flash memory from 0x08000000 to 0x0807FFFF will be accessible by the bus masters."

Does this mean that once the memory is swapped, only the first 512 kilobytes of the flash memory are accessible? In other words, if we wanted to use this functionality with a bootloader, we would not be able to write the whole 4 MB of the flash memory?

Thank you and best regards,
Max
