MSPM0L1305: sysosc tolerance

Hi Support,

 

My Assigned focus customer with a large volume opportunity is asking about the sysosc:

Would you be able to provide clarification on the clock drift tolerances for the SYSOSC in the datasheet for the MSPM0L1305? I would like to know what the min/max tolerances are coming out of factory trim, but I don’t see that information listed in the datasheet. This is to help with determining what tolerance to set my UL1998 clock test for measuring clock drift.

I only see a typical value:

Is it possible that those factory trim tolerances and temperature tolerances are already accounted for in this row of the 7.9.1 table?

    Hi Blake,

    The row you shared from table in section 7.9.1 already incorporates both factory trim variation and temperature drift. The test conditions state the full temperature range: -40C to 125C.
