Hi team,

I ask this for my customer

My customer is migrate from SDK to MCAL, and they want to configurate ECAP to APWM mode, but seems ECAP MCAL isn't support it. How can customer do using CDD_Ecap to realize their function?

Hi, Shuqing.

This is feature is currently not supported in CDD ECAP. CDD ECAP is implemented like MCAL ICU driver which doesn't support any APWM mode.

How to configurate the ECAP as APWM mode in MCAL development? Could you give some suggestion to customer? Or do we have some schedule to update the ECAP MCAL to support APWM module?

Hi, Shuqing.

We have not provided the APIs for configuring APWM mode explicitly in CDD ECAP. But customers can use SDK APIs in MCAL to configure that. Currently the APWM mode is not in scope for the upcoming release.

I've raised this as a new requirement for MCAL. Will let you know the plan from dev team. Meanwhile as Masood mentioned, can customer use the SDK based API in application as shown below?

This is from ecap_ex1_apwm example in SDK, which are nothing but register writes.
