TMS570LC4357: Potential Negative Impact if SYSESR.EXTRST Not Set During Watchdog Reset?

Hi,

On TMS570LC4357, the SYSESR.EXTRST bit remains 0 after a watchdog reset.
(We do have an external pull-up on nRST — not sure if related.)

Functionally it's fine so far, but we're concerned: does the absence of EXTRST indicate the internal reset sequence was incomplete? Could this lead to latent instability or an improper reset state?
