Hi team,

I ask this for my customer.

My customer want to know if system clock can be configurate to lower frequency while the device is running

Where can be find the device speed grade from marking? Do we have P speed grade device?

2. We just has the 400MHz/500MHz power assumption, do we have 200MHz power assumption?

3. in trm, it shows it can be configurated to mode2(200MHz), is it can be changed while device is running in 500MHz? What's thing needed to pay attention to? What the sequence to change the frequency? What's may be affected when the frequency change? Is it can reduce the power assumption?

1) Please use https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spradr5 to find the power estimation at 200MHz for the application customer is running.

2) Please referto the

6.4.7 Programming Guide in TRM to understand programming sequence. This needs to be done from SBL, update current settings present in SBL.

This is part of the device OPN. I see the following list of OPNs which are currently in production, and do not see a part with "P" speed grade device

Hi Shiv and Sahana,

Customer want core run in 200MHz or less, in their application, they think 100MHz can meet their performance requirement.

Is it possible to run less than 200MHz?

In the excel you shared, i just see the core 200MHz lockstep frequency power assumption. If we set core run in 200MHz, is peripherals power assumption will reduce at the same time?
