MSPM0C1104: Test Socket for MSPM0C1104SDYYR (SOT23-THIN-16)

Hi,

We plan to use the MSPM0C1104SDYYR in a new project. For prototypes we would like to program small quantities of the MSPM0C1104SDYY in-house with a small self-made board. Therefore we need a socket (like a ZIF socket) for the special SOT23-THIN-16 package.
Does TI know a supplier of such a socket?

I am sorry that I can't recommend this kind of supplier for you. But this kinds of socket is normal in circuit design, so you can research on Electronic Components Shopping Website, I think it is easy to find one.

Hi Janz,

It does not look that easy. I can't find any ZIF socket that is compatible with SOT23-THIN-16.
Any hint is highly appreciated.

Hello Ruf,

Sorry for the late response. I have discussed internal with my colleague. About the DYY16 socket, it is custom-made for us by one China vendor. So we recommend you find one vendor to produce it according to the related size description in the datasheet.

Maybe you can share the vendor in china and the name of the socket so that TI customers can buy/order the same socket?
