Hi experts,

I am asking for customer. My customer is using uart+DMA demo in MCAL SDK( mcal\examples\Uart\uart_echo_dma_app) but he found this demo can't enter transceiver interrupt, seems like it can't work.

Could you check if this demo work? If not, could you provide a MCAL demo only have uart+DMA ?

Hi Kita,

All examples should have been tested prior to release. Are you able to run other UART examples successfully? Is there any other debug information you can provide when attempting to run the example?

Hi Allison,

Customer is testing this demo in the launchpad, so the hardware should be ok. Customer tested UART example in sdk and it can run normally, that means the uart hardware should work. Uart port also has not waveform. Customer didn't modify the demo, but it still can't work.

Could you help to check the problem in MCAL demo uart_echo_dma_app ASAP? Or you can provide a MCAL demo which can work with uart+DMA, I can ask customer to use this demo firstly.

Closing this thread. The demo was not applicable to AM261, but a patch is being provided and will be implemented in future SDK releases.
