MSPM0L1304: SysConfig throw error for ADC12

Part Number: MSPM0L1304
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hi,

I opened a fresh project, and selected MSPM0L1304TRGER (24 pin VQFN), and sysconfig throws "resource conflict" error (not warning) while I have not selected any peripheral yet. When I click on ADC12 Channel 0pin, drop down menu does not suggest any alternative pin.

There is no such issue with VSSOP 20or 28 pins.

Any suggestion?

  • Channel 0 is not available:

  • Hi Mehrad,

As Keith mentioned, channel 0 (A0) is not available for this package.

You can change the channel here:

  • Thanks for the reply!

When I changed the Channel 0 to Channel 1 or 2 etc, it throws another error message as below: "An attempt was made to change the setting '$assign' which does not exist. Click to acknowledge and dismiss this error. This is most likely due to a difference in the board or device."

    What do you suggest?

    Kind Regards,

  • Hi Mehrad,

I spoke with our software team and it seems like the error message may show up when migrating between devices that don't share the same resources (in this case channel 0). You can clear the message and continue configuring your SysConfig file. This error should not prevent the project from building.

    Best,

    Owen
