AM263P4-Q1: Implementing Diagnostic Methods Mentioned in AM263P4 Safety Manual

Part Number: AM263P4-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM263P4

Hi Team,

I am referring to the AM263P4 Safety Manual, where multiple diagnostic methods/mechanisms are listed theoretically (for example in the diagnostic tables with diagnostic method IDs and coverage information).

I would like to know if there are any SDK-level support/examples to implement these diagnostic methods practically.

I also referred to the following E2E thread:

 https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1590246/am263p4-q1-error-detection-fault-injection-methods-described-in-the-functional-safety-manual/6142811?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=SDL_AM263px_diagnostic_mapping

In that discussion, an Excel sheet related to diagnostic mapping in the SDK was mentioned. However, I could not locate the referenced SDK package,

Could you please help clarify:

Where the mapping between Safety Manual diagnostic IDs and SDK APIs/examples is available.

Whether any example projects or fault-injection demonstrations are available for AM263P4.

Regards

Sravanthi R.

  • Hi Sravanthi,

You can request it from below link:

First i would suggest you to download CSP package and refer the diagnostic mapping excel that will clarify the how to implement most of these safety mechanisms.
