AM2432: Observing extra clock pulses when I2C is configured above 1Mhz.| AM2432

On which port of the I2C do you observe this signal issue?

What is the power supply rail voltage on the port?

You can see in the AM243x Datasheet the ports and voltages.

We are observing these pulses on each I2C Channel.

Meanwhile, we have observed on below mentioned I2C Channels:

1. MCU_I2C0 (1.8V)

Do you have an oscillogram of the Data line? Could you please provide us a screenshot with better voltage and timing resolution?

Do you multiplex with another interface on the same line?

What voltage do you have on the VDDSHV_MCU?

Is the waveform observed to be as expected when you reduce the speed to 400KHz?

We have tested MCU_I2C0 on 100Khz and 400KHz. However, getting the extra pulses on each clock cycle.

On I2C Side, we have placed 1K pull-up on SCL and SDA Line.

Below the snapshot for SCL and SDA Line.

Is there a reason to choose 1K, is there another pullup near or cap load to the attached device?
