Hello Team,
Customer is developing the industrial Ethernet Gateway and are allocating memory using the linker as shown below.
Customer would like to utilize the unused parts of our current memory map for feature additions and maintenance. Could you please advise if there are any available memory regions, or if there are sections in the current memory layout that are safe for customer to use?
- Is it acceptable to use the ICSSG_RAM region? (It appears to be the PRU region.)
- As for MCAN, since customer is using it for actual communication, so they assume it cannot be used. Is this understanding correct?
- Also, the customer would like to know the exact purpose of each section currently defined.
