Part Number: AM625
Dear TI Team,
We tested the GPIO signal levels on the evaluation board using a multimeter and observed the following behavior for the LED-connected pins.
LED Connections
-
L1 pin → Green LED
-
L54 pin → Red LED
-
L57 pin → Green LED
-
L58 pin → Red LED
Observations
-
L54 LED is glowing continuously irrespective of ON/OFF control through Linux GPIO commands.
-
L57 LED is not glowing even when toggled using Linux GPIO commands.
-
L1 and L58 are working correctly and their voltages are changing as expected.
Because of this behavior, we are unable to properly access and control all these GPIOs from the controller side.
Multimeter Readings
Health LED 1
-
L1:
-
LOW → 1.9V
-
HIGH → 3.3V
-
-
L54:
-
Voltage is fixed at 3.3V and not changing
-
Health LED 2
-
L57:
-
Voltage is fixed at 3.3V and not changing
-
-
L58:
-
Voltage changes correctly during GPIO toggling
-
Clarifications Required
-
Why are L54 and L57 behaving differently compared to L1 and L58?
-
Are there any hardware limitations, alternate pin functions, pull configurations, or pinmux settings affecting these GPIOs?
-
What is the correct procedure to configure and control all these GPIOs from the controller side in Linux?
Note:
We tested this behavior on the evaluation board, and these pins are intended to be used for LED indications in our customized application.
