PMP41114: How to design CRPS (Common redundant power supply) ?

Hi Sir,

     Qisda is going to design a CRPS. We found a CRPS product on TI’s website with the model name “PMP41114.” Could TI provide its schematics, BOM, code, etc.? Since TI Taiwan cannot support CRPS, could you please advise which TI resources or contacts we should reach out to for CRPS support?  Thanks a lot !

  • Hi Nick,

    PMP41114 is combined of PFC , LLC, flyback, and ORing.

    You can separate these stages for developing:

    • PFC (including a Baby Boost), you can refer to PMP23338;
    • LLC you can refer to PMP41081;
    • The flyback, I would suggest our latest product, UCG28826;

          Thanks for your reply. I had checked out the information of PMP23338 and PMP41081, and had some questions as follows,

          1. Dose the schematics include all components ? Including the MCU ?

          2. Is the BOM partial or complete ?

          3. Can I buy these two boards to study from TI ?

          4. I can NOT find the source code of MCU. Can it be released to us ?

          5. PMP41081 output is just 1KW. Are there other modules that have more power output ? like 2KW, 3KW or 3.6KW ?

          In addition, can we discuss by e-mail, not at the forums ?
