How do I create a static library for AM13E23019 using CCS 20+? Are there any template projects available?

If this feature is not currently available in CCS, are there plans to integrate it in the future?

This is a current limitation of CCS 20.x. The workaround is to use the project CLI command:

https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide_ccs/ccs_faqs.html#how-do-i-create-a-new-project-from-scratch

The upcoming CCS 21.0 release next next month will properly support from the IDE the creation of new basic template projects including static library and system projects.
