MSP-FET: Elprotronic C-Gang Support

I recently purchased a number of the Elprotronic C-GANG-IT programmers, however there seem to be a number of issues with them.

The VCC sense doesn't work. If you don't have the programmer VCC enabled, then it doesn't even attempt to communicate with the micro.
If one of the 6 fails to program then it causes the other 5 to fail too.
Elprotronic will provide no support for these issues. I have been back and forth with them a lot and they state that they won't provide support until a new contract with TI is signed. There was no indicatation on TI's site or Elprotronic's that these items wouldn't be supported. Will TI be signing a new contract to provide support? If so, when will that happen?

Hello William,

Yes, we will sign a new contract with Elprotronic, and it will be completed soon. Before that, maybe you can try to use this latest version GUI and check whether it can resolve yout problem.

Thanks for your reply. That's the version of the GUI that I have. I don't think it's an issue with the GUI software though. I think it's an issue with the programmer firmware, because if I use the DLL command line functions it still has those same issues.

Get it. William. About the firmware update, maybe need to do it after we recover contract with Elptotronic. Hope you can understand.
