AM2432: I2C is not generating the accurate clock at 3.4MHz

Part Number: AM2432
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hello TI Team,

In sitara AM2432, as we tested I2C communication, we have observed that the controller is not generating the actual clock which is configured by the sysConfig in firmware.

When MCU_I2C0 is configured at 3.4Mhz, it generates arround 3.0MHz. However, it generates the accurate clock when it is configured in 100KHz, 400KHz and 1MHz.

Kindly provide your feedback as soon as possible and provide the suitable measures for resolving the issue.

Best regards,

Nilesh

  • Hello Nilesh

    Thank you for the query.

In case there is series resistor or filter caps, please DNI the cap, make the series resistor 0R and check.

Please elaborate the I2C interface connections.

Please share the expanded waveform for 400K and 1Mhz

    Regards,
