AM263P4-Q1: ECC: How to identify if an ECC error is real or artificially induced?

Part Number: AM263P4-Q1

Hello,

I have following queries on ECC module. Please reply to these questions.

  1. How can one identify whether an ECC error is an actual fault or an induced error?
  2. During a data abort exception, how can one differentiate between a double-bit error and an inject-only mode trigger?

As answered in the previous query, software can distinguish injected ECC errors because it initiates the injection at a known time and has full control over the sequence. I understand this from a developer perspective, but I have a follow-up question:

3. How does the software determine, when a data abort exception occurs, whether it was caused by an induced ECC error (error injection) or by an actual ECC hardware error?
