AM2612: Overlapping comparators

Part Number: AM2612

Hello team,

is it true that the comparators in AM261 are overlapping for some of the ADC inputs?

E.g. CMPSSA4 is listed twice: 

  • for ADC1_IN 4 & 5
  • for ADC2_IN 0 & 1

Is this the intended behaviour or am I missing something?

    Hi Manuel,

    Yes, your observation is correct. This is intended behavior on AM261x. The ADC-to-CMPSS connectivity is not a strict one-to-one mapping per ADC instance. Some CMPSSA inputs are shared across adjacent ADC input groups.
