MSPM0G3519-Q1: MATHACL compiler support?

Hi,
is automatic compiler support for the MSPM0 MATHACL module offered?
Eg:
result = a * b;
will the compiler automatically make use of the MATHACL hardware accelerator, or will we need to explicitly use the MATHACL API, for example:
result = MATHACL_DoMultiplication(a, b);
to benefit from the hardware acceleration?
