AM263P4-Q1: AM263PX-MCAL-SDK: PBIST Positive Test Completion

Hi Team , 

For checking successful completion of pbist positive test for each memory region, Is it enough to check FSRF (0x5330 0190h) reg value alone according to SDK code? Since this value is by default 0 and on successful completion also it indicates 0, how are we supposed to know if the test is done and the value zero is due to pbist positive test success. 

In the sdk pbist code, we are using something called scramble value SDL_PBIST_InstInfoArray. Are these scramble value written to memory region being tested, when I notice memory browser after positive test, should these scramble value be visible in CCS memory browser?

    Hi Vandana,

    After Kick off the PBIST, the interrupt is the only source to find PBIST done.

    The reason for not considering interrupt is that VIM RAM should also part of the PBIST, so depending on interrupt status is not ideal as this memory should also test by PBIST. 

    So that is the reason we are reading PBIST result two times using SDL_PBIST_getResult, so in case of a failure SDL_PBIST_getResult API will return failure condition.
