AM2432: Is it possible to place DMSC into sleep mode using a TISCI message?

MCU+ SDK for AM243X v12.01.00.33 defines TISCI message codes TISCI_MSG_PREPARE_SLEEP and TISCI_MSG_ENTER_SLEEP. Are these messages capable of placing the DMSC itself into sleep mode, under request of the main processor?

    No, these messages can't put DMSC to sleep. 

    The DMSC is designed to remain operational to manage power-management functios, even when the application cores are in a low-power or standby state. Consequently, the DMSC does not enter a sleep mode via these TISCI messages, as it must maintain the minimum hardware state required to eventually wake the device.
