is there a possiblity to swap the IO groups of the EtherCAT ports to the other PRU?

Could this be a runtime compatible option?

    In theory, YES. But this requires changes in EtherCAT PRU firmware. What is the background behind this request ?

    Runtime switching is even harder. We are NOTintending to support both options specifically because of number of permutations its going to add from qualification perspective.
