MSPM0-SDK: Problems enabling digital IOMUX features on MSPM0C1103

Part Number: MSPM0-SDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPM0C1103, SYSCONFIG

I am using CCS12  Version: 12.8.1.00005

I am using the MSPS003F3 variant of the MSPM0C1103 and cannot select resistor pullup under the Digital IOMUX features for an input pin. I also cannot select the digital input filter. I believe this feature was working on an earlier version of the SDK. I can, of course, add my own code with  DL_GPIO_initDigitalInputFeatures calls to turn on these features, but it would be nice to be able to use the syscfg interface.

I tried using the Inversion feature on a digital input and found it to work on some pins but not on others. Is this a  bug? For example, it did not work on PA4 and PA11.

I have been unable to read back the state of an output pin. There does not seem to be a check box in syscfg to do that. I tried disabling the HiZ parameter in  DL_GPIO_initDigitalOutputFeatures but that did not work. Is this even possible?

Thanks,

Tom

  • The pullup is not available for Open-Drain pins (PA0/1) [Ref data sheet (SLASF90D) Table 6-2].

Input can be enabled (INENA bit) for an output pin, but Driverlib has no mechanism to do that, so you'll have to set it yourself.

I haven't used the Inversion feature, but I don't know why it would be different for different pins. Are you describing a Sysconfig limitation, or a case where the inversion doesn't happen?

    [Edit: Minor clarification]
