Question regarding Code Composer Studio license

The TI webpage for the Hercules Development Kits mentions that 'CCStudio v4.x IDE: C/C++ Compiler/Linker/Debugger' is included.
After installing the CD-ROM I tried to start Code Composer Studio, but it mentions that no valid license is found.
It gives me 3 options: evaluate for 30 days, activate a license using an activation code or install license file. Within the package I cannot find activation code or license file information.
How to proceed?

Alas, we did have some DVDs that were built that did not install the license to use a full featured, non-trial version of CCS. We are very sorry about that.

You can find the license file for the xds100 (integrated into HDK, USB Stick) attached. http://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer-Discussions-Components-Files/766/6011.TMDX570_2D00_Development_2D00_Kit.lic

You can copy the file to the location as shown below:

Hi,

Even I came across the same problem. I just used the certificate which you have mentioned above. It took the cerificate, but still gives the same message - License 30 days remaining.
Should i ignore it ?

Does it has anything to do with the system administrator settings ?

This could very well be so.

I had many installation issues, several had to do with scheduled tasks which could not be run due to privilige issues (although I do have administrator rights on my computer!).

To me it looks like the installation process as on the shipped CD and the accompanying documentation needs some serious improvements!
