TMS570 support for STM?

Hello everybody!

So I'm a little confused now: We are using the TMS570LS20216-PGE, which does not have ETM or RTP. What I what to calify: It also does not support STM, correct?

By the way, what are the minimum (hardware) requiements for STM? Do you need at least one EMUx Pin?

    Hello Jakob,

    None of the Hercules products support STM.  STM does not provide high bandwidth trace that is generally required by the embedded control customer base.  We support both high bandwidth ETM for processor trace and also a high bandwidth DMM/RTP interface for SRAM trace.  Not all products will include these peripherals in order to manage cost; superset devices with all trace interfaces are available.
