I have recently been looking at the stellaris chip from TI. I see that it has alot of software support, including various bootloaders and other libraries. Is there any similiar software for the TMS570 (Cortex R4F)?

Willis

Hi Willis,
As far as software support we provide a range of utility to ease code development, Flash programing, etc.. The entire list can be found at http://www.ti.com/mcu/docs/mcuprodtoolsw.tsp?sectionId=95&tabId=2836&familyId=1931&toolTypeId=1
For the bootloader we have the code for an SPI bootloaded that can be found at: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/RM48_HDK_Kit

Thanks for the response. I went to download the bootloader but the zip file contains only a Windows executable. Is there no source code? I also looked at the reference document for the SPI bootloader and it states that there should be attached source code. Could you tell me where to find this.
Thanks,
Willis
Willis,
The ZIP file is a windows installer that will install the CCS project for our bootloader.
All source and include file are part of this project.
