Rs485 on LM4F112H5QD

Is it possible to implement RS485 on a LM4F112H5QD?  Also, are there an application note on this?

    Hi Susie,

    The short answer is yes.  Your question does not ask about specific capabilities, but this device can support all typical and most advanced RS485 functions.  Key capabilities include speed (up to 10Mbps), an EOT interrupt to allow software to detect when to disable the transmit side of the transceiver, and a 9-bit addressing mode option.  We do not presently have an application note on RS485.

    Thank you Jonathan.  I have just started looking at this so I really don't have any specific questions currently.  I just needed to know that it is definitely capable of RS485.
