Hi All
This has reference to the Analog Comparator section of the Data Sheet. Does anyone know how/where I can find the footnotes?
It mentions PF0(9), PF1(9), PF2(9) and I am unable to find the (9) footnote.
Thanks in advance
Regards
KLG
The (9) is not a footnote. (although the notation can lead to this belief) Instead - the (9) indicates the particular multiplex selection for that MCU pin. The numbers refer to the MCU pin-selection columns - starting from the left (1) and increasing to the right (15). Here's an extract (from our MCU data sheet):
To save space here - did not extend this chart down to PF0 - that row indeed shows the comparator selection w/in column labeled (9). The GPIO section of your MCU datasheet differs slightly from ours - the use & explanation is just as I've described herein... (nice verified answer tick gratefully received)
*** Update - "use" as I've provided may not quite reach hallowed, "Good for Gov't Work" standard. Your desired (9) bit encoding is automatically handled by your entry w/in StellarisWare's PinType() and PinConfigure() functions. (you may review the encoding w/in the GPIOPCTL Register - and perhaps related others)
Thank you - but "brilliant enough" for you to tick the "Verified Answer" box w/in your initial post? You may consider same action for your PF0 issue - which earlier was also resolved... (we are running "bit low" of threadbare T-Shirts offered for our service...)
