Waveform Wizard

Getting started in the HET IDE, release 2.0. While progressing through the first tutorial, I have gotten snagged where the waveform wizard is used.

The box which would open the waveform wizard is grayed out.

I have acquired a license for waveformer, but this did not solve the problem.

Additionaly, there is an error before assembling that says: " bind failed: 10048"

Is this error code related to the hitch in the program?

Hi Charles,

The bind failed error is critical, it means that the 2 processes, HET.exe (Front End GUI) and Simulator.exe (Backend simulation engine) could not be binded. No operation can be executed without the 2 projects binded.

Are you using Windows 7? Are you an Administrator on your machine? Do these 2 processes show running on your machine?

Please let me know so I can help you debug the setup.

All I did differently was [right click shortcut]-> "Run as Administrator" and the error disappeared.
