hello,

I want use DMA for SCI receive a variable length of data, and Use DMA for SCI transmit a determined length of data. (USE RM48L950 HDK)

when i use HalCoGen ver:03.01.01 to generate some init code . but I can't find anything about DMA.

is there any about DMA for SCI example ?

Jianwei,

In the attached zip file, you can find source code for setting up the LIN module in SCI mode and perform transfer with DMA. In our test, DMA generates an interrupt after a block transfer via LIN and ten CPU checks the received data. In this example, the SCI internal loopback mode is used. You should be able to change it to adapt to your application.

When i use the given example to init DMA configuration function of dmaCPConfig(.....) , and at execute dmaRamREG->PCP_ST[n].ISADDR_UL = Src_Addr;

i see the program run in to data abort exception at store the data Src_Addr(0X08009E4D) to address of 0XFFFF8120

I read the RM48Lx5 trm document ,but I can't see the dma base address of the control packet memory Map.so i use the given example base address 0xFFFF8000.

i don't know where the error is occurred

Jianwei,

DMA control packet RAM start address is 0xFFF80000. You used a wrong address. That is why you got a data abort. In the example I sent earlier, there is a "device.h" file which contains start address of all modules and memories.

yes , I used a wrong DMA RAM address . and I find the DMA RAM address in product view document.
