Hi,

I am using TMS570 USB kit and I am working on GIOA interrupts. I was trying to find out some example codes for GIOA interrupts (for TMS570S20216) and I did not find any. Please provide me sample code which demonstrates the GIOA interrupts.

Here is attached a project for CCS5 and Halcogen that demonstrates how to use GIO module with interrupt. 8713.GIO_INT_BE.zip
This project will run on the TMDX570LS20SUSB

The code does not need any external signal.

GIOA.7 is configured to generate High Level Interrupt to vim (via request 9)
The VIM will than interrupt the CPU via IRQ.

The CPU is configured to be IRQ enable.

In the main routine, the GIOA/7 is defined has output and than the code will drive the pin High. This creates the rising edge and than the interrupt.
The corresponding project for HalCogen is also available.
The outfile you can program in the part is also available in the debug directory.
