Question about corrupting RAM ECC

Hello Support,

In spna126.pdf, Section 3.4, Step 4 mentions DISABLE ECC before writing to RAM.

In case I want to write only to ECC RAM Space [0x0840_0000 -- ] in order to corrupt, using RAMCTRL Bit 8 as HIGH, do I have to Disable ECC Check Logic within Cortex-R4 core?

Any example code which created Single Bit Error or Multi Bit Error by corrupting ECC RAM space directly instead of Normal RAM will help me to understand.

Thank you.

Regards

Pashan
