Hello,

I'm evaluating the use of TMS570LS5125-PGE on a new project and I'd like to use the HALCoGen to make the initializations, but I didn't find it in the HALCoGen supported device list.

Is it possible to use HALCoGen also with this device (maybe selecting another device from supported list)?

Is it possible also to create code for FreeRTOS support?

Please download Latest HALCoGen from www.ti.com/tool/halcogen

TMS570LS20216SZWT_FREERTOS can be used to generate the initialization codes with FREERTOS port. This can be used for your TMS570LS2125PGE except there are few differences you have to note looking at their respective data sheets. It will almost match your device.

I am trying to use Halcogen on the same processor. The differences for my application is significant. Is it possible to get Halcogen updated to support all variances of the 570?

HALCoGen team have it on the roadmap to support all available TMS570 varients. Due to the complexity and testing efforts involved it's going to take more time to acheive it. Hence HALCoGen team released drivers for super set devices which contain all modules, so that other sub-set devices can use these drivers by doing configurations which are applicable to them.
