Simulator for Stellaris M4F?

Hi, I have a project using a Stellaris M4F processor. I recently asked a question (http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/218076/768260.aspx#768260) in the CCS forums about having difficulty debugging my project in simulation mode, and was told that the simulation capability in CCS only covers the Stellaris M3 processor right now.

Given that I seem to be out of luck with my M4F right now, is there any roadmap or information on the status of simulation for the M4 processor? Is this under development, planned, or not even on the table?

Hi Ben,

I will check into the plans for the simulator and get back to you.

In the meantime, if you are not using the FPU on M4F, you might want to rebuild the code for an M3 target so you can use the simulator under CCS.

Hi Ben,

Shorter term TI has focused on enabling very inexpensive starter kits to enable customers to work with our software and get familiar with Stellarisware etc.

I will get in touch with you to try to help you put together a platform to work with.
