The LM Flash Programmer - Build 1463 (and 1429) crashes at the verify stage on some binary files. This does not occur on Build 1381.
When attempting to download firmware to my LM3S8962 Evaluation Board using Windows XP SP2, some (not all) binary files cause the LM Flash Programmer to crash during the verify operation with 2 errors, as shown below:

I have confirmed that the file is successfully programmed because the loaded code runs after the crash. Also, if I uncheck the "Verify After Program" option, LM Flash Programmer does not crash. Also, I have confirmed the verify operation is the cause of the crash by using the "Verify Flash Contents Against .bin file" in the Flash Utilities tab, which also causes LM Flash Programmer to crash.
For an example of a binary program that causes LM Flash Programmer to crash, on my web page at http://dlkeng.cwahi.net/Stellaris.htm is a link to a Zip File of Crash Data that can be used to reproduce the problem. In addition to the binary file, that zip file also contains the error report files referenced in the above screenshots and the source files associated with the binary file that demonstrates the program crash.
The current workaround to this issue is to disable the "Verify After Program" option or to revert back to Build 1381 (I upgraded to get support for the new Stellaris LaunchPad board).
