HALCoGEN Version 03.03.00 and IAR

I am evaluating Hercules RM48 for a new product, our corporate compiler tool chain is IAR, I am having issues with HALCoGEN to generate IAR output.

I have created a project for IAR tool chain, when I re-load the project the Tool menu defaults to "Texas Instrument Tools" IAR and ARM tools choices are not available.

If I create a new project and select IAR tool chain, the Tool menu has the 3 tool chain choice, I can now reload the original HALCoGEN IAR project but I need to select the IAR tool chain, Texas Instrument tool chain is selected even if the project was created for IAR.

    Hi Carmine,

    I have forwarded your request to HALCoGen team. 

    Couple of things I would like to add.

    1) When creating the Project, In the pop up window please select "IAR" in the Tools drop menu. Do not create with "Texas Instruments Tools"  and later change in the Tools menu to "IAR" after the project is loaded. Save the Project. (Say "Test_HALCoGen.hcg") 

    2) Load the Test_HALCoGen.hcg, Please ignore the display on the Tools Menu ( There will be no "Tick Mark" against Texas Instruments, so it is not actual selected), the Project is saved for IAR, if you generate code it will generate IAR code base.
