Getting started with RM48 USB evaluation kit

I am trying to get started with the TMDXRM48USB evaluation kit.

When I removed the USB stick from the package, I noticed the PORST switch fall out. I later soldered it on to hopefully fix my problems.

After installing the software (and updating it), I tried to run the demo. After selecting any of the demos, it says that the demo software is not detected on the microcontroller, and it asks to program the demo. It seems to work, and when it is done, it asks me to reset and then press OK, which I do. It then says that communication to the microcontroller has been lost, and to reset the microcontroller again.

That's as far as I've gotten. What next for the demo?

And, where do I find the Getting Started Guide? Where is the code to the demo?

Assuming I can get the demo to work, where do I go next?

Thank you,
